The Golden Jubilee School was started in 1998 by a group of citizens in Jalna who saw the need for an institution modeled after leading public schools in the Country. Their aim was to establish a full-day school that would provide individualized education for all round personality development of students. The school employs innovative methods centered on a philosophy of ‘no satchels and no home work’ for lower grades.

The school aims to give every student an education that nurtures intellectual, physical, moral and emotional growth. While fostering strong values in students, it will also encourage independent thinking and adaptability in the face of challenges.

With these goals in mind, the school endeavors to develop the following in each student:

  • Mastery of communication skills
  • Ability to think clearly, logically and independently
  • Awareness and appreciation of cultural, scientific, economic and political happening
  • Good health and physical fitness enabling every student to lead an active and productive life
  • Appreciation of ethical and social values

The school is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and follows the national curriculum framework. With classes starting from LKG to XII, the medium of instruction in the school is English with Hindi as the second language (up to Class 10) and Marathi as the third language (up to Class 8). The school also has a nursery wing, called Jubilee Kids.

The students complete most of the assignments during school hours under the guidance and supervision of subject teachers. Classroom size is restricted to 25 to facilitate individual attention. Teachers recognize that each child has a different learning style and they adapt their teaching methods to accommodate variations. Individual attention is not restricted to academics but to every aspect of education – sports, extracurricular activities, life skills, discipline or value education.
