A tribute to World Food Prize Laureate (Late) Dr B R Barwale, who is widely regarded as the father of the Indian Seed Industry, and founded India's first private sector Hybrid Seeds Company in 1964. During the five decades of stellar work he contributed to the food security of the country, and worked for the betterment of life of the farming community.
